Points to Ponder:
Don't stretch any part of the shirt. It must be free from wrinkles. Don't use fabric covered surfaces. Surface must be as flat as board.
Choose a shirt in which you are comfortable and that fits you well and then take measurements as we explained below in the chart:
Place the collar flat and measure from the center of the button to the center of the button hole.
Close the shirt buttons and place it on a smooth and flat surface. Measure around the fullest part of the chest, just below the sleeves.
Measure the length of the shirt from neck seam to the bottom of the shirt.
Measure from the left edge to the right edge regardless seams in the base of the shirt.
Measure from shoulder seam down to the outside of the sleeve.
Place the sleeve flat and measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the wrist.
The yoke is the region around the top and rear shoulder. It can be easily seen on shirts, because it is a separate piece of cloth use to join various parts of shirt. So, it is better that you should wear the shirt and ask someone to measure it for you.
Measure an edge of the shoulder to the other to the rear of the back.
Place a wrist flat and measure from one edge to the other.
Measure from the left edge to the right edge regardless of seams at the waist.
